LET'S GLOW GIRL
Kate designed Glowbar's Expert Cleanser, their first-ever product. Working with iconic Glowbar CEO Rachel Liverman over two years, Kate took the facial company's branding into packaging gorgeousness.
With a stunning background in offering top tier facials across her extensive (and ever-expanding) storefronts, Rachel's next move to bring a product to life made perfect sense. Skincare lovers can now take home a part of their favorite facial routine. The clinical aesthetic works beautifully perched on a bathroom counter. And the pack is designed to match the integrity of the formula: expert approved.
Kate added a special "surprise and delight" element to the back of the product - whenever she gets the opportunity, playing with unique negative space that provides a design solution is her favorite thing to do (signature move even??)

"For a company that strives for facial perfection, I knew I needed to ensure the same thinking was applied to their first product. Clinical at first glance, professional, brand cohesion, and connected to contemporary influence, the Expert Cleanser was such a delight to design.
My 'signature move' - adding negative space wherever I can find it. I suggested to Rachel a handful of negative space design solutions so consumers could see how much product was left - Rachel suggested to make it a circle and that's when the sailor window peep hole was born. Plus, a bonus QR code for fun marketing and a grid system for easy navigation for this carton-free product" - Kate
