A unique formula required unique packaging - Kate took Kylie's iconic drips and extended them allowing for the Kylie logo to knockout to the formula. It made for a beautiful collection showcasing the colors of the lip products beneath the component deco.

Lip Shine Lacquer (unit carton)

"Just as I referenced the Liquid Lipstick for the primary, so did I take cues from the Liquid Lipstick secondary for the Lip Shine Lacquer carton. The embossed gloss drip extends toward the bottom of the carton. The silver hot foil stamping of the logo against the soft Kylie pink maintains the brand look and feel. Finally, also like the Liquid Lipstick, the top panel has a color matched liquid lipstick logo.

Lip Shine Lacquer

I wanted to play with big branding, drips...but I needed to use a stock component. Limitations make for great solutions at times!! As I had been inspired by knockout letters, I thought it would be super beautiful to extend the drips toward the end of the vial, leaving room for a huge logo that would properly reveal the formula color beneath. Made for a beautiful lineup in the end showcasing the product colors so well!" - Kate
